GARMIN BLUECHART® G3 CARTOGRAPHY/ Product Update

PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
BlueChart g3 and BlueChart® g3 Vision coastal charts are now available in an updated version with the release of v2024. These products are recommended for customers who own older Garmin devices that are not compatible with Garmin Navionics+ cartography but still want Garmin charts with integrated Navionics® data. BlueChart g3 and BlueChart g3 Vision charts now offer Notice to Mariner corrections (as
issued by official sources), navaid changes, improved shoreline, new hazards and new chart editions available since the last release. Fishing charts have also been improved to include the latest contouring available, complemented by crowdsourced depth data to yield a powerful fishing tool.

The highlight of this release includes updated and expanded relief shading content in Australia as well as 29 new lakes in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland, Australia.

Relief shading must be downloaded to BlueChart g3 Vision cards via the ActiveCaptain® app. The easy-to-interpret, stunning colour palette reveals complex and intricate bottom detail of channels, offshore shelves, reefs, wrecks and sandbars, so boaters can better understand their surroundings at a glance, and anglers can more easily identify fish-holding structures. The resolution of relief shading can vary. As new or better source data is acquired, our charts are updated.

GARMIN NEW CHART GUARANTEE:
Dealer stock of BlueChart g3 and BlueChart g3 Vision charts will never be out of date with the Garmin New Chart Guarantee program. New Chart Guarantee is valid to be redeemed within 12 months of purchase.

When you purchase a new preloaded chartplotter, pre-programmed BlueChart^® g3, BlueChart^® g3 Vision, LakeVü g3 or LakeVü g3 Ultra microSD^™ card, you’re entitled to the newest version¹ of charts/maps. Discounted Card Update Program

If you have a preprogrammed BlueChart g3, BlueChart g3 Vision, LakeVü g3 or LakeVü g3 Ultra microSD card, you can update them for a discounted price³. You can download the updates. Updated charts/maps will be for the same region (if available²) as the original purchase and are available via download only.

Customers who own BlueChart® g3 and BlueChart® g3 Vision cartography may purchase new Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ cartography for their compatible marine devices.
