That’s a wrap for Rayburn Reservoir. The Division 2 slate has more renowned fisheries, perhaps why it’s drawn an almost full complement of 230 anglers. It was to kick off Feb. 13 at Sam Rayburn but nobody was prepared for the weather warnings. In a big twist of events, Sam Rayburn concluded as a 1 day event.

Tommy, @tommywoood, was placed with in a 41 position, and earnt a pay cheque!! He is also sitting 10th on 308 points, for the Angelar of the year. Whilst the season has only had one tournament from both divisions this is a welcomed result.

Division 2 then reconvenes the first week in March 6-8 at Kentucky/Barkley Lakes. In early April, the field hits Lake Norfork before a three-month wait for Minnesota’s Leech Lake in mid-August.

Tommy also gets a mention as a angler to watch out for. Just to clarify, Tommy is competing in both Division 1 & 2 in the hope of getting into the Bassmaster EQ’s. As the tournament continue, Tommy will head to Tombigbee River, Columbus, MS on April 16-18. Upper Chesapeake Bay, North east MD on July 23-25. St. Lawerence River, Waddington, NY on July 31- August 2.

The EQ venues, announced Tuesday, are some familiar waters for Bassmaster pros. Lake Champlain opens the EQs Sept. 18-20, and Lake Pickwick is Oct. 2-4. The 10 Elites Series berths will be decided on Lake Okeechobee, Nov, 13-15.
