ROUND 4. Teemburra Dam Jacob Wheeler together with Tim Morgan have seen team Rapala take out a win this season for the at Teemburra Dam round of the Zerek BARRA tour. These boys landed a 5 BARRA limit for 69.45kg (that’s 153lb for our US viewers). 23 meter plus (100cm) fish were landed for the session with the event’s Big Barra caught by Issac McFarlane (117cm) for Team Jackall. Carl and Gussy came in with a 2nd, showing the Bass Boys still have what it takes.
ROUND 5. Kinchant Dam, saw Jacob Wheeler and Tim Morgan this time taking out the Venom Australia sponsored round of the 2024 Zerek BARRA Series. The boys landed their 5 fish limit for 46.75kg (103lb) to secure their second win for the tour.
ROUND 6. Peter Faust Dam. The Humminbird Peter Faust Dam All-Night round of the 2024 Zerek BARRA Series has been run and won by Team Bassmaster – Carl Jocumsen and Jeff Gustafson! The boys put in a solid effort, casting all night for a 5 barra limit that went 74.92kg. Steve Morgan states “We’re sure this BARRA trophy will be sitting right next to Gussy’s Classic trophy when he gets home”. It was a tight leader board with NQ team ‘Madkeen’ (Caleb and Riley Ward) only 110g behind in second place. ROUND 7. Peter Faust Dam and it was Congratulations Team Samaki on the back to back to back win for the Two Night Samaki round on Peter Faust Dam for the Zerek BARRA Series. Tommy and Josh do it again. Third year in a row for Team Samaki taking out the Samaki sponsored 2-night event at Peter Faust Dam to wrap up the 2024 Zerek BARRA Series. Josh Lowry and Tommy Wood had a couple of dream sessions on the lake landing a 10/10 barra limit for 138.17kg to take out the win.
Tommy finished off his ABT tour with a fish at Lake Maraboon near Emerald with his dad seriously chasing trophy sized Barramundi.
