About Our Team

Tommy Wood caught his first Marlin at six years of age and a first ‘1-metre Barra’ casting at ten years of age. It would be fair to say he is hooked on fishing.

Tommy hosts a swag of accolades from his fishing endeavours whilst only being 23 years of age. Tommy starts his lifelong goal this year, competing as an Australian non-boater in the American Bass Master Elite series.

Tommy heads to Texas in March of this year to have a taste of some serious Bass competition. Tommy will spend 3 months in 2023 on the circuit as a non- boater giving it, his all.

Our family at Sunshine Coast Marine Electrical Doctor are right behind him, he is something the Americans are going to have to look out for. We wish him well, and look forward to him returning as a boater. Follow him on Facebook or Instagram.
